Regions PCCS Private College and Schools Financial Aid Conferences

We are the home page for the Regions I, II, & III, Region IV, Region V and Regions VII, Regions VIII, IX, and X Private Career Colleges & Schools . In the spirit of partnership, most Private Career Colleges & Schools have agreed that there is a need for CONFERENCES specifically for private career school owners and financial aid administrators. Our Goal is to provide a common ground to meet and exchange ideas in Education, Business and Compliance Issues.

To remain eligible to offer Title IV Aid, institutions must remain administratively responsible and financially capable. In the spirit of partnership with all the Private Career Colleges and Schools in the USA, we have agreed that there is a need for a basic and advanced financial aid training for private career school personnel. Many school owners may not fully realize the impact in their schools that the administration of Title IV Aid has on the value of their company. We offer this training, education and a place to interchange ideas at five locations throughout the United States.
Come and join us!

Dear Terry, Is Your School Ready for VAWA? The U.S. Department of Education’s regulations implementing the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) become effective July 1, 2015. VAWA and the related regulations impose significant new responsibilities on Title IV schools. Notably, VAWA amended the Clery Act to require schools to compile statistics for incidents of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. The new law and regulations also require schools to develop programs in an effort to prevent incidents of sexual misconduct from occurring, and to have policies and procedures in place to investigate and adjudicate allegations of sexual misconduct on their campuses. VAWA and the related regulations apply to all Title IV schools, not just large schools or those with residential student housing. One of the key elements of the new law is that any disciplinary proceedings involving cases of sexual misconduct must be conducted by school officials who receive annual training on issues of sexual misconduct. This annual training must also include instruction on how to conduct an investigation and hearing process that protects the safety of victims and promotes accountability. In order for your school to be in compliance with VAWA, your responsible school employees must receive this annual training. Regions PCCS is pleased to have DL Training Solutions LLC and attorney Chris DeLuca offer a special training program for school officials to satisfy the VAWA annual training requirements. Chris has over 22 years legal experience, and spent nine years as the chief financial officer and in-house legal counsel for a Title IV cosmetology school group. This three-hour training program program will address many topics required by VAWA, including: Identifying and reporting domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking Explaining the victims’ rights in all processes and procedures Investigating, responding to and rendering findings on complaints This training program is a live, on-line webinar on Monday, August 10, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM EDT. Registered participants will receive a certificate of completion as evidence of their attendance at this annual VAWA training. They will also receive a copy of the program materials as a resource for the implementation and administration of the VAWA requirements at their school. Click on the link below to register or RSVP.
